THE WINNER CALCULATION

101 numbers select one slot.

All 100 player Draw Numbers and the System Draw Number are added together. The remainder after dividing that Final Total by 100 maps directly to one of the 100 occupied slots.

Anyone can confirm that the revealed values match what was committed earlier. There is no admin button to choose, change, or redraw any winner.

Technical details

Each SHA-256 commitment hashes a canonical payload containing the round, slot, entry ID, Torn player ID, five-digit Draw Number, and a random 256-bit nonce. The nonce prevents the small number range from being guessed before reveal. A separate manifest hash fingerprints the System Commitment and all 100 player commitments. Historical draw pages recalculate every layer in your browser.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Your number and timing do not improve a slot's odds.

Is a low Draw Number worse?

No. 00001, 50000, and 99999 do not have different standalone odds. They are inputs to the Final Total; they do not compete against one another.

Can Draw Numbers repeat?

Yes. Draw Numbers are not unique tickets or winning positions. Several players can choose the same value without giving any slot an advantage.

Does joining time matter?

No. Joining order assigns a slot, but every slot has the same 1-in-100 Main Prize chance. For any fixed player total, the uniformly generated System Draw Number makes each modulo-100 result equally likely.

EQUAL ODDS

Money cannot buy better odds in the same round.

Every round has 100 unique players and one entry per player. Additional paid entries go into future rounds.
